"Il maestro del settimo sigillo" - solo un romanzo storico o qualcosa di pi\u00f9?<\/h5>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Pubblicato in Grail World 58\/2010<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

La storia del mondo consiste in un'interazione di molte forze e non \u00e8 raro che questioni apparentemente banali acquisiscano un'importanza fondamentale.<\/p>\n

Questo fu anche il caso della famosa battaglia navale tra la grande armata spagnola e la flotta inglese nel 1588. La vittoria inglese in questa battaglia imped\u00ec l'invasione delle isole britanniche, contrast\u00f2 la loro violenta ricattolicizzazione e apr\u00ec la strada all'Inghilterra in seguito divenne la pi\u00f9 importante potenza navale.<\/p>\n

Una vittoria spagnola sarebbe diventata anche una vittoria della Controriforma, forse dando inizio al crollo dell'intera Riforma.<\/p>\n

La ricetta inglese per il successo nei conflitti militari erano navi veloci e agili in grado di superare in manovra i grandi galeoni spagnoli e: cannoni a lungo raggio.<\/p>\n

Le navi sono state progettate dal geniale maestro costruttore navale Matteo Baker<\/em> e i cannoni versavano... un tirolese, Adam Dreyling<\/em>.<\/p>\n

La sua vita avventurosa \u00e8 nel romanzo storico di fantasia insolitamente eccitante "Il maestro del settimo sigillo"<\/em> a partire dal Johannes K Seyener<\/em> e Wolfram a Mondfeld<\/em> descritto. Ma la storia del tirolese, recentemente oggetto anche del documentario della ZDF "The Empire Strikes Back", offre pi\u00f9 di una semplice finzione...<\/p>\n

Il Tirolo come "Stato high-tech" asburgico<\/h5>\n

Nel XVI secolo il Tirolo era un importante centro economico dell'impero asburgico. Le miniere vicino a Schwaz producevano rame e argento e a Innsbruck lavoravano le migliori fonderie di cannoni, che utilizzavano un processo segreto per produrre cannoni di bronzo di eccezionale qualit\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Esattamente i cannoni di cui l'Inghilterra aveva bisogno per la sua flotta!<\/p>\n

A quei tempi, la fusione dei cannoni era un'arte i cui segreti ogni maestro fonditore custodiva con cura. Alcune sottigliezze di quest'arte non si sono quindi tramandate e sono andate perdute. Ad esempio, ZDF voleva che una fonderia di campane di Innsbruck fondesse un cannone basato su modelli del XVI secolo per il suo film documentario... ma il casting non \u00e8 riuscito! \u00c8 facile immaginare quanto fosse preziosa la conoscenza di un maestro lanciatore di armi di bronzo all'epoca...<\/p>\n

Il viaggio di Adam Dreyling da Schwaz all'Inghilterra<\/h5>\n

Nel romanzo citato in giro Adam Dreyling<\/em> prima viene descritto un grave incidente nelle miniere di Schwaz, che innesca una rivolta. Il modello storico di ci\u00f2 fu probabilmente la grande rivolta dei minatori del 1525.
\nAdam Dreyling<\/em>, il portavoce dei minatori nel romanzo, che rappresenta le loro giustificate preoccupazioni, deve lasciare Schwaz dopo la rivolta. Va a Innsbruck per imparare il mestiere da suo zio, un maestro cannoniere. Riesce a sondare i segreti della famosa fonderia L\u00f6ffler, i "sette sigilli" delle armi.<\/p>\n

Quando lo zio gli rifiut\u00f2 l'attestato di maestro artigiano e quindi non pot\u00e9 condurre una propria bottega, decise Dreyling<\/em>lasciare Innsbruck. Un'avventurosa fuga lo porta in Inghilterra, dove incontra il maestro d'ascia Matteo Baker<\/em> entra al servizio della regina e diventa il primo maestro fonditore del regno. Riesce a modellare in tempo i cannoni senza i quali la vittoria sull'Armada spagnola non sarebbe stata possibile.<\/p>\n

Dopo la grande vittoria, per\u00f2, Dreyling<\/em> \u2013 condivide questa sorte con molti altri \u2013 considerato solo con ingratitudine\u2026<\/p>\n

Pi\u00f9 di un semplice romanzo leggibile<\/h5>\n

Il romanzo storico di 1.100 pagine "Il maestro del settimo sigillo"<\/em> \u00e8 altamente raccomandato come lettura accattivante per le vacanze. \u00c8 emozionante, ma descrive anche un momento storicamente importante in modo avvincente. I fatti su cui si basa il romanzo sono cos\u00ec ben documentati che si pu\u00f2 presumere che tutti gli eventi principali siano effettivamente descritti in modo storicamente corretto.<\/p>\n

Le descrizioni dell'attivit\u00e0 mineraria, della fonderia, della cantieristica navale, nonch\u00e9 delle condizioni sociali e politiche che prevalevano in Tirolo, Venezia, Inghilterra e Polonia all'inizio dei tempi moderni appaiono particolarmente ricche di fatti.<\/p>\n

Chiunque cerchi un approccio divertente agli eventi di questo periodo dovrebbe familiarizzare con la strana storia del Adam Dreyling<\/em> approfondire.<\/p>\n
